About AnaMorfo

¿What is AnaMorfo?

AnaMorfo is a collaborative platform developed by researchers at the Instituto Universitario de Análisis y Aplicaciones Textuales (IATEXT).

  • AnaMorfo currently has more than 30,000 phrases analysed by experts.
  • All sentences contain words with a high degree of grammatical ambiguity.
  • The new phrases are pre-analysed by an automatic process and only need to be corrected if necessary.
  • Allows you to select phrases containing ambiguous words for analysis.
  • Allows the creation of a corpus of analysed sentences for personal use.
  • Each user can download the phrases they have analysed.

It aims to improve the accuracy of morphological analysis in Spanish through the validation and correction of linguistic data by experts in philology and PLN.

Why is morphological analysis important?

Morphological analysis is fundamental in Natural Language Processing (NLP), with applications in:

Today, many models struggle with word disambiguation. AnaMorfo aims to address these challenges by combining human knowledge with advanced linguistic technology.

How does AnaMorfo work?

AnaMorfo enables users to collaborate in the correction and validation of automatically pre-generated morphological analyses.

  • Select an ambiguous word from the list.
  • Analyse sentences containing that ambiguous word.
  • Corrects and validates grammatical tags.
  • Mark the sentence as correct or incorrect.
  • View and download your analysed sentences.

Types of collaboration

Free collaboration:

  • Through the correction and validation of automatically pre-analyzed sentences.
  • Visualization and download of your analyzed sentences.

Paid collaboration:

  • For specific projects, the review, correction and validation of automatically pre-analyzed sentences may be compensated.
  • Reviewer of sentences analysed and validated by other users.

Other types of collaboration:

Contributing users who have passed the review, upon payment of the reviewer, will have access to the same number of corrected and validated phrases as they have contributed to the AnaMorfo platform.

In any type of collaboration, all corrected and validated sentences will be available to IATEXT for research purposes.
